Project full title: Repository of Built and Intellectual Heritage of the Upper-Tisza Region
Objective: promoting local culture and preservation of historical heritage

The specific objectives of the project:
- to elaborate a common marketing strategy for creation of thematic routes, to create branding, to create and design and develop a touristic website, to develop offline tools: Guidebook, Brochures, portable stage, signs, roll-ups for cultural and touristic events and exhibitions.
- reconstruction and maintenance works at Traditional Country house in Vyshkovo village, reconstruction and maintenance works at Traditional Country house in Muzhiyeve, reconstruction and maintenance works at Traditional Country house in Shalanky; construction works implementing a traditional yurt-style new country house in Choma village
- to organize cultural and touristic events and exhibitions in UA, to promote the CB Route of Country Houses: to organize a Handicraft, gastronomy village within the Tradition Preserving Festival in Muzhiyeve village, a Handicraft, gastronomy village within the Meeting of Crown Cities event in Vyshkovo and the Day of local history museums in Shalanky and the Hungarian Conquest Memorial Ceremony in Choma village
- to Implement infrastructural construction and reconstruction works on 4 local country houses in HU, members of CB Country House Network established: reconstruction works of Tiszabezdéd, reconstruction works of Tarpa, reconstruction works of Penyige and Construction of Kisvárda Country House and Touristic Information Center
- to organize cultural and touristic events and exhibitions in Kisvárda HU, to promote the CB Route of Country Houses and to celebrate the inauguration of Country House and Information Centre newly built and created.
In order to address properly the identified common problems and needs, the project proposes an integrated CB strategy that combines both infrastructural and “soft” interventions. Alongside with the renovation of the 8 cultural and touristic sites (including their environment and infrastructure), the project aims at adjusting the local cultural sites to the common needs of the target groups, especially visitors and tourists. Our aim is the establishment of a branded and well promoted CB Route of Country Houses based on a survey on buildings of cultural heritage in HU and UA to form the bases of cross border thematic route. We plan and implementing joint promotion activities and information provision for CB Route of Country Houses and for 7 cultural and touristic events organized on both side of the border (Guidebook, brochures, leaflets, touristic website, maps, joint project webpage, signs, etc.). We organize joint cultural and touristic events with CB added value linked to cultural heritage site restored with participation of mixed groups of visitors from HU and UA.
We support of traditional local handicraft products by participation at cultural and touristic events, exhibited at country houses to foster local economic effects.
Our project will contribute to the increase of the number of visitors in the region, to the increase of number of cross-border cultural and touristic events organized and touristic development using ENI support and to the increase of the number of improved cultural and historical touristic sites as a direct consequence of programme support.
